IMT-GT and BIMP-EAGA National Tourism Seminar was organised by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture of Malaysia and Johor State on 4 December 2023. During the Seminar, Director of CIMT, Mr. Firdaus Dahlan, was invited as a speaker and presented progress of the implementation of the IMT-GT Implementation Blueprint (IB) 2022-2026 in tourism sector and update the Visit IMT-GT Year 2023-2025 Campaign. The seminar is very timely to align initiatives of the relevant tourism stakeholders with the IB and the Visit IMT-GT Year Campaign. It is highly expected that the similar event could be followed by other IMT-GT member countries to accelerate tourism recovery in the subregion.
